Relation to the natural resource

     The raw material for producing Celadon comes from nature. The change of natural resources and technology cause a ready-made material for Celadon making. However, Bannua (Don-it) Celadon factory still remains with the natural materials; clay from Nakhonchaisri factory and glaze mixture from Dontum District and ferric oxide, one of painting formula in the community.


Raw Materials Reflect Wisdom

     The artistic use of materials to make Celadon has been obtained for thousands of years. It shows us how amazingly scientific and artistic knowledge of ancient artists who created Celadon stoneware were. At present, we apply those knowledge and new technology with the raw materials to produce more quantity of products to serve the needs of market.


The mixture of Celadon

     There are the combinations of Bannua (Don-it) Celadon as follow:

1. Ball clay for stoneware or Kaolin

2. Ferric oxide or iron from silt from rice field mixed with resin from Matoom, Kratin or Makhid trees.

3. Contents of the glaze: calcium carbonate, quartet, feldspar ferric oxide and kaolin

4. Gold color for drawing style
